Katrina Kaif was a bollyWood model and turned actress. She was born on 16th July 1984 in Hong Kong and then move to Hawaii. Her star sign is Cancer .She has 1 brother and 7 sisters, she is half British and half Indian, her mother is British and father was from Kashmir but later settled in UK. She spent her childhood time in Hawaii and later moved to London. Katrina’s height is 5' 8½" and her nick name is “Kat”.
At the age of 14 Katrina started modeling in UK, her first show was for the jewelry campaign. She signed her first bollyWood movie “Boom” which was released in (2003), although the film was flop but she decided to keep acting and took it as a career. Since acting became her profession she decided to relocate to Mumbai. In the beginning of her filmy career she faced many hurdles because she couldn’t speak Hindi very well. She had an accent problem and
mostly film makers, directors, producers hesitated to sign her but fortunately her pretty face, well maintained figure and beautiful look helped her and on the basis of which she did few good films but her voice is dubbed by someone else in most of her films. “Namaste London” which was released in (2007) was her first film in which her voice is not dubbed because in the film she played a foreigner girl character.
Her second film in which her voice was not dubbed is “Apne” which released in (2007). Now Katrina is taking Hindi classis and also dancing classics for her upcoming films. She is trying to become a complete and good actress. She also worked in other languages films like Telugu and Malayalam films. She has worked in few Hindi movies from 2003 to 2007 these are the films in which she worked up till now:
